About the Island
Martha's Vineyard is located 7 miles south of
Falmouth on Cape Cod, MA.  It is a surprisingly
large island and consists of a number of different
towns, including Edgartown, Oak Bluffs, Vineyard
Haven, West Tisbury, Chilmark, and Menemsha.
Each area of the island has its own unique charm
and character.

Edgartown's classic whaling captain mansions
surround a pedestrian friendly town center that
bustles with retail and restaurants.

Oak Bluffs has a slightly livelier feel to it, with its
charming Gingerbread Houses overlooking the
Green and the ocean, and the vibrant nightlife that
pours out of the bars and restaurants on Main
Street.

Chilmark and Menemsha balance the huge,
secluded mansions of up-island living, with the
gorgeous rainbow colored chalk cliffs of Gay Head
and the earthy fishing communities that cling to
the island's seafaring past.
